Muhly Premiere + Album w/ Omega Ensemble

Welp, this was fun. I conducted three works by maniac American composer (and new mate) Nico Muhly with the Gun Musicians of Omega Ensemble: By All Means, No Uncertain Terms and the premiere of commissioned work Unexpected News feat. baritone Brett Brown*. I was also really excited to get deeply into John Adams’ Shaker Loops, the third movement of which is a study in accelerandos. Lots of new ideas… The ABC Classic album can be purchased here.
